Surf Poke was founded by Jay and Cait Gould, who were first introduced to poke bowls while visiting Los Angeles on a business trip in 2007. When they returned home, Cait added California-style poke bowls to their household menu.
However, in 2013 they took a babymoon to Hawaii awaiting their second child. While in Haleiwa, they were introduced to authentic Hawaiian-style poke bowls, and immediately noticed the difference!
They’ve been making Hawaiian-style poke bowls at home ever since, and in 2017 decided to open Surf Poke to introduce the Jersey Shore to true authentic poke bowls.
At Surf Poke, every bowl is made to order, with fresh produce and the highest quality ahi-tuna, salmon, chicken, shrimp and crab!
We also offer acaí and pitaya bowls, smoothies, juices and more to compliment the poke.
